The incident happened on the 3500 block of Richmond Highway, around 1:30 p.m.
According to NBC Washington, an SUV pierced by bullets with shattered windows was spotted at the scene. A parking lot was cordoned off by police tape near a Navy Federal Credit Union location and AT&T Store, the outlet said.
